Looking back over the several decades we've known Mildred and her family, it's hard to choose one favourite memory, but reflecting on times shared, what's interesting is how that twinkle in her eyes and her cheerful giggle feature in so many of them. It seems clear she greatly enjoyed her life and the people in it. Condolences to all blessed to have known her, and especially to Bob, Kent and Scott and their families. We are so sorry to hear the news of Mildred's passing. As a young married couple, Joel and I shared several nights playing cards at our cottage with our neighbors - Mildred and Bob at Lake Rosalind. We would trade our pie slices and play Hearts into the evening. She was loving and kind and she will be missed. Melanie and Joel Widmeyer

I enjoyed getting to know Mildred and Bob while playing euchre Friday nights at Trinity United Church. She was such a warm, caring soul and you couldn't help being drawn to her. Her smile and attitude were so infectious. My prayers go out to Bob and his family for comfort and strength for the time ahead.

When we lived in Elmira 85-94 we knew Mildred and found her to be a wonderful accomplished woman. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She will be missed.

Our deepest condolences to you Bob and family. Mildred was a good friend of my mother's, Jeanette Brunner. She so enjoyed visits with you and Mildred. She was such a lovely person and a real fighter. have fond memories of the cottage. Our parents would visit with her parents and I learned to swim off the dock.
