Peacefully passed away with Wayne and John by her side on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at St. Mary’s General Hospital at the age of 69.
Devoted wife and best friend for almost 43 years of Wayne Maher; cherished mother of John. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Donna Schneider (2011), Bruce and Debbie, the late Terry (1999), David and Brooke, and Skip and Grace Maher. Loving aunt of Todd, Kimberly (Stefan), Corey; Brenda (Tim), Rob (Charity), Katelyn (Tyler), Gordon (Julie); Jennifer (Trevor), the late Ashley, Rebecca (Darren); Adam, Shanelle; and Stacey Maher.
Predeceased by her parents Russell and Ruby (Stahlbaum) Atkinson, in-laws Ed and Kay Maher and nephew Bryan “B.J.” Maher. Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. To register for visitation, please call 519-669-2207. Masks are mandatory, please remain in your vehicle until an attendant invites you in.
A private family service will be held, and will be livestreamed at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2021 on Connie's tribute page of the funeral home website. Inurnment at St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Elmira.
