Sadly we have lost a loving family member.
To Wayne, John & the entire Maher & Atkinson Family we send our deepest condolences. May the Lord wrap his loving arms around you all & give you strength to carry you through the days to come as you grieve the loss of this beautiful soul.
Connie Atkinson Maher...
So many years ago you came into our lives.
I remember my Dad, you & Wayne sitting at our dining room table enjoying a Sunday meal. My Dad speaks up & says, "so, when are you two getting married"? Well the look on your face was priceless Wayne!! You would never had made a good poker player because your tell tale reaction to his question was written all over your face & that you already seemed to have some plan in motion. I don't recall how much time had passed but it was very soon afterwards you were engaged. One of the best decisions of your life I must say!!
Over the years Connie came to be a very important part of the "MAHER" clan. She was always cheery and always had an infectious smile on her face & you had no option but to return it back to her. She loved family gatherings. From Christmas Eve's spent at our families home to family reunions & any get together there was throughout the year, she wanted to be there!! She was so friendly to everyone & loved to see what everyone had been doing since the last time we were together.
I will greatly miss our late night texts to the wee hours of the morning. Thank God for technology, it brought us closer together!!! She felt more like a sister to me than a cousin.
Connie, you will be missed more than you know! We love you & you will never be forgotten!!
Sending much love to you and be sure to hug all "my special" people that mean the world to me!! You know who they are!!
Lovingly remembered by,
~ Joanne (Maher) & David Byers ~

Wayne and John. Connie was a bright star at Freiburgers. I adored her. She was always happy, cheerful and it spread to whoever was around her.
My deepest condolences go to you both. I will miss our chats on FB. It was an honour to know such a wonderful lady.
