Obituary of Ronald Alan Seabrooke

Suddenly, on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the age of 63, Ron went to rest in the arms of the Lord he had dedicated his life to serving. Devoted husband of 36 years to Win and loving dad to Michael (Adrienne), David, Jonathan and Deborah (Joe). One of Ron’s greatest joys and his most honoured title was that of ‘Grandpa’ – he will be deeply missed by Devon, Kaia, Joshua, Blake, Caden, Brynlee, Connor and Peyton. Predeceased by parents Ellwood and Gertrude Seabrooke and sadly missed by siblings Karen (Mel), Dan (Shelly), David (Carina), Gord (Heather), Steve (Karen) and MaryAnne (Jay), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Ron was a lifelong learner, most recently earning his Doctoral degree in 2013, who enthusiastically served the Lord. Mourning alongside his family are countless people across the world, from Canada, the US, Europe, Israel and Africa. Because of his 13 years of leadership, love, and dedication, his WBC Family will be able to carry on his legacy.

Those who loved him most will remember the laugh that lit up a room, his Tilly hat, his ever-present roll of duct tape and the phrase uttered most often – ‘let’s pray’. We are honoured to have had the time we did and more, to have been loved by him.

Ron will be honoured through visitation at Wallenstein Bible Chapel, 4522 Herrgott Rd, Wallenstein ON on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. and Friday, October 11, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Wallenstein Bible Chapel. A private family interment will be held prior to the service at Hawkesville Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to One For Israel (cheques payable to MSC Canada) or Wallenstein Bible Chapel for the 2019 Expansion Project would be appreciated by the family.
