Forgett, Elaine Mary (Helm)

Passed away peacefully, at home, on Sunday, April 28, 2019, at the age of 89 years. She is deeply missed by her children, Donald, who lovingly cared for her in her final years, Patricia (Daniel) Bester, Richard, James, and Sandra (David) Moore. Beloved Grandma to Jessica (Travis) Sedore, Meghan (Bryce) Hoover, and Emily (Lukasz) Mozdzen. Predeceased by her infant son Paul (1959) and husband Lawrence (1970), sister Melba Weinstein, brothers Laverne, Gerald, Melvin, Lloyd, Cletus, and Donald. Elaine loved music and played piano, enjoyed cooking, pets and gardening, and most of all, spending time with her family. She was a devoted Mother and Grandmother.

To honour Mom’s wishes, a private family burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the KW Humane Society or the Alzheimer’s Society Kitchener-Waterloo.
