I want to express my sympathy and let you know that my thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Joanne will be sorely missed, not only by your family, but also by her PIB/RWAM family. She always had a smile ready at hand. Her great sense of humour and her laugh will be remembered fondly by all. Someone so special can and will never be forgotten.

I have many great memories with Joanne while working at PIB. She always had a smile on her face. She would save her delicious fried fish every time she made some at work for me or my Dad to take home to my Grandma. It was my Grandma's favourite meal! She will be greatly missed. Sending prayers to all her family and friends.

We met years ago, you were a wonderful supporter and had the best burgers. Incidentally I met your daughter Tricia and we became lifelong friends. RIP beautiful lady, enjoy the peace.

Going into the cafeteria at work every day and seeing Joanne always made me smile. Her presence was very motherly and I grew to be extremely fond of her and we got to know each other quite well. I can still see her face when she was grossed out by some "weird" foods I would bring in like my chickpea cookies, and I had quite a laugh when she made some for me while she was off sick. I was impressed when I finally got her to try some things that she thought were disgusting and we often laughed about this! I know she also had a very special relationship with my dad, Bob, and she loved to hear his jokes while he loved bringing home her soups and her famous fried fish! I sure have missed her presence here and I will always smile when I think of her and remember her so fondly. I am so sorry for your loss and send your family love and prayers. Take good care, Kari

Joey, you are such a great friend and Mom and Grandmother! I could see it every time I was with you. I will miss you so much! You brought such a wonderful light and laughter to all. I will always remember colouring your hair, or waxing your moustache. You dealing with my cat with your allergies! Never complaining. Fun memories. Leaf games just won’t be the same! Love you Joey!! Where do I begin to tell you about my dearest friend. We spent so many fun times together that we were like sisters...but even better than that we were forever friends. She was so much apart of my family's lives as well and they all loved her dearly. I will never get over the fact that we can't laugh together....sing together...play cards together ... make beets and jam together...and all the million other things we did together. We travelled a million miles together and had such good times. We wore our Canada coats and everyone knew us by them. I worked in her restaurant and she worked in my store. We were the "J TEAM". I'll love her forever....

Ainsley, Brandon and I will never forget you. You touched all of our lives so deeply, even in the 8 short months Ainsley had with you. We miss you dearly and love you endlessly. Brandon and I will always remind Ainsley of how loved she was and how incredible her Great Grandma Jo was. I will forever cherish our memories, I will always reminisce & I will always try to smile through the tears and remember what occurred while you were with us instead of dwell on the fact that you are gone. Its going to be heard going every day knowing that you are no longer just a phone call away, but I know that you'll always be with us in spirit. You always said that ainsley was your guardian angel, now its your turn to be ours.
