Obituary of Henry M. Bauman
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Barnswallow Place, Elmira, at the age of 79 years. Henry Bauman was the loved father of Roger (Judy), Michael (Jo Ann), Lorraine (Keith) Clemmer, and Marjorie Bauman. Loving grandfather of Eric (Danielle) Clemmer, Patrick Cort, Nathan (Janessa) Bauman, Sheila (Andrew) Bauman, Stephanie (Robert) Brayshaw, Joey (Deborah) Clemmer, Denise (Jamie) Martin, Matthew (Nicole) Bauman, and 12 great-grandchildren. Survived by his sisters Erma Gingrich and Verna Gingrich, brother Earl (Betty), and sisters-in-law Marie Bauman, Susannah Bauman and Betty Bauman. Predeceased by his daughter Maureen Bauman, son Eric Bauman, parents Henry and Nancy (Martin) Bauman, brothers Abner, Milton and Elmer, sister-in-law Lydiann Bauman, and brothers-in-law Angus and Edwin Gingrich. Henry was a longtime employee of Martin Feed Mill. He enjoyed the outdoors and he and his hunting dogs were avid hunters. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. There will be no public service. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the nurses and staff of Robin’s Grove at Barnswallow Place for the special care given to Henry.
