Obituary of Glenn Richard Ward
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 6, 2018, with his family by his side, at Lisaard House, Cambridge, at the age of 61 years. Glenn Ward of Woolwich, formerly of Thunder Bay, was the beloved husband of Doris Winfield. Cherished father of Alyssa, Lauren, and Rachel Winfield-Ward. Dear son of Janee Ward, and brother of Valerie Vanderzwaag and Barry Ward. Predeceased by his father Richard Ward. Glenn had a passion for teaching, learning, and his family. At Glenn’s request, cremation has taken place. The family will receive their relatives and friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Calvary United Church, 48 Hawkesville Road, St. Jacobs, with a reception to follow. Interment in Calvary United Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Thunder Bay Art Gallery (First Nations Youth Program) or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
