Martin, Elvina Passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017 at the Guelph General Hospital in her 91st year. Elvina (Gingrich) Martin was the wife of the late Laverne Martin (2004). Mother of Orlan and Ella of RR 2 Drayton, Annie and Lorne Burkhart of RR 1 Wallenstein, Orvie and Eileen of RR 2 Wallenstein, Ernie and Sharon of RR 2 Alma, Eileen and Albert Frey of RR 1 Palmerston, Melvin and Shirley, of RR 2 Wallenstein, and Wilma and Wayne Brubacher of RR 1 Wallenstein. Also survived by 47 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, one brother-in-law Wilfred and Vera Martin, and one stepsister-in-law Sarah Brubacher. She was predeceased by a daughter Mary in infancy, one granddaughter-in-law, 3 great-grandchildren, her parents Seranus and Magdalena (Shoemaker) Gingrich, two brothers, two sisters (one in infancy), 5 stepbrothers-in-law, and 6 stepsisters. Friends may call at the home of Melvin Martin, 7585 Fourth Line RR 2 Wallenstein on Wednesday, September 6, 2016 from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. The family service will be from the home on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 9 a.m., then to Olivet Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
