Martin, Henry W. Passed away peacefully at his home, RR 1, Waterloo, on Saturday, August 26, 2017, in his 96th year. Married to Viola Martin on September 19, 1945 who predeceased him on November 20, 2003. Dear father of Marie and Harvey Weber of RR 2, Alma, Lorene and Israel Martin of RR 1, St. Clements, Gladys and Leonard Martin of RR 2, Drayton, Earl and Elaine Martin of RR 1, Elora, Marlene and Ronald Martin of RR 1, Waterloo, Paul and Elaine Martin of RR 1, Palmerston, and father-in-law of Earl and Carol Martin of RR 2, Alma. Lovingly remembered by 42 grandchildren and 145 great-grandchildren. Survived by his sister-in-law Loreen Snyder. Predeceased by his parents Sidney and Susanna (Weber) Martin, daughter Doris (Mrs. Earl) Martin, son-in-law Lorne Martin, grandson Jonas Martin, and great-granddaughter Lillie Doris Martin. Henry was the last surviving member of four brothers and five sisters. Visitation for relatives and friends was held on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at the family home and will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 1:30-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A family service will take place at the family home on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 9 a.m. then to Martin's Mennonite Meeting House for interment and further service. www.dreisingerfuneralhome.com
