Obituary of Salome Martin

Martin, Salome Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at the home of Erla and Mervin Bowman, RR 1 Holstein, in her 92nd year. Salome was the wife of the late Elam B. Martin. Mother of Seleda and Daniel Frey of RR 3 Lindsay, Cleon and Rebecca of RR 3 Massey, Edna and Clarence Knorr of RR 1 Waterloo, Erla and Mervin Bowman of RR 1 Holstein and Mahlon and Rose Lynn of Massey. Also survived by 29 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Edith Reist. She was predeceased by her parents Noah and Susannah (Bowman) Reist, sisters Annie and Lovina, and brothers Owen, Amos and Elam. Visitation will be at the home of Edna and Clarence Knorr, 2477 Lobsinger Line, RR 1 Waterloo, on Thursday, October 27 from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, October 28 from 2-5 p.m. A family service will be held at the home on Saturday, October 29 at 9 a.m., then to Conestoga Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
