Obituary of Melvin H. Martin

Martin, Melvin H. ~ Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at the age of 88 years. Melvin Martin was the beloved husband of the late Melinda (Martin) Martin (2006). Dear father of Maryann Martin of RR 3, Waterloo, Salome and Amsey Martin of RR 2, Wallenstein, Elmeda and Amos Martin of RR 3, Waterloo, Lucinda and Cleason Martin of Val Gagne, Ontario. Loved grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is survived by a brother Simon (Selina) and a sister Esther H. Martin. He was predeceased by his parents Aaron and Leah (Hoffman) Martin, two brothers and a sister. Visitation will take place at the home of Cleon Martin, 1346 Three Bridges Road, RR 1, St. Jacobs, on Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9 from 2-6 p.m. The family service will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, October 10 at the home of Cleon Martin, then to Conestoga Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira. Service Summary Visitation: Friday, October 16 from 12:30-4:30 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral Home. ~ Family Service: Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, then to North Woolwich Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
