Obituary of Helen Sharon Knarr

Knarr, Helen Sharon Peacefully passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016 at Grand River Hospital, at the age of 73 years. Helen, of Linwood, was the beloved wife of the late Leonard Knarr (2012). Loved mother and mother-in-law of the late Carol (2015) and Pete Haddock of Kitchener, and Shirley and Bob Stortz of Mount Forest. Loving grandmother of Ryan (Shannon) Haddock, Michelle (Tom) Ferguson, and Jamie Lynn Stortz, and great-grandmother of Braelynn and Amberlynn Ferguson. Dear sister of Rosetta Hewitt, Bill and Judy Gerber, John and Rita Gerber, and Jim Gerber. Predeceased by her parents John and Ethel (Smith) Gerber, brothers Kenny, Laverne, and Gerald, and sister Shirley. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. with visiting one hour prior at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. Interment will take place at Linwood Union Cemetery. In Helen’s memory, donations to St. Mary’s Hospital Cardiac Care Unit or Grand River Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
