Obituary of Ermina Martin
Martin, Ermina ~ Passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace, Fergus, on Saturday, September 3, 2016, at the age of 90 years. Ermina Martin was the beloved wife of the late Harvey S. Martin (2005). Dear mother of Keith and Deb of Arthur, Karen and Bill Moore of Listowel, Gloria and Leon Martin of West Montrose, Glen and Beth of Elmira, Collin and Marie of Goldstone, Carol and Steve Weber of Moorefield, Roger of Kitchener, Reta and Randy Sauder of Monetville, Tim and Kelly of Elmira, Tracey Martin and Lloyd Diehl of Floradale. Loved grandmother of 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by her sister Aleda Reist of Elmira and sister-in-law Helen Martin of Capreol. She was predeceased by her parents Amos B. and Elvina (Bauman) Martin, sisters Melinda and Osiah Martin, Adeline and Alvin Bauman, Perceda and Cecil Musselman, brothers Cleason and Salome Martin, Onias and Minerva Martin, and brother-in-law Howard Reist. Ermina was a kind and gentle person and a happy mom. She enjoyed her involvement with her friends in “Club 42”. She had been a resident of Chartwell Elmira for the past five years. Relatives and friends will be received at Floradale Mennonite Church for visitation on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 1-1:45 p.m. Private interment will take place at Floradale Mennonite Cemetery on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 followed by a public memorial service in the church at 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to MCC for school, health and relief kits, or the House of Friendship would be appreciated.
