Obituary of Newton Bauman

Bauman, Newton ~ Passed away peacefully on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Caressant Care in Arthur, at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Elvina (Snyder) Bauman of Floradale. Dear father of Murray and Agnes, the late Gerald (2011) and JoyAnn, Arnold and Doreen, all of Drayton, and Karen and Eldon Metzger of Listowel. Loved grandfather of 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Mervin and Edna Bauman, sister Lena Martin, and sisters-in-law Evelyn Bauman and Lorene Snyder. He was predeceased by his parents Jeremiah and Velina (Martin) Bauman, brother Murrel Bauman, sister Irla and Eldon Brubacher, brother-in-law Mervin Martin, sister-in-law Leah and Elton Martin, sister-in-law Salome Snyder, brothers-in-law Sylvester and Verna Snyder and Freeman Snyder. The family will receive their relatives and friends on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 2–4:30 and 6–8 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, where a family service will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 9 a.m., then to Goshen Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
