Obituary of Marilyn Rowe

Rowe, Marilyn ~ Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener on Friday, July 22, 2016, in her 79th year. Marilyn (McLenachan) Rowe of Elmira, was the loved mother of Karen (Mark) Schieck and Roberta Beaul; proud Nanny of Kristy (Colin) Martin, Steph (Mason) Halstead, Ashley (Richard) Shantz, Kristina (Jeremy) Vervoort and seven great-grandchildren; dear sister of Karen White. Also lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law Ed White. Marilyn spent many years as station Duty Operator at 14 Division of Metro Toronto Police Services and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 469, Elmira. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service. A reception will follow the service at the RCL Branch 469, Elmira. A private family interment will take place in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
