Obituary of Fern Brubacher

Brubacher, Fern (Mrs. Orvie) ~ Peacefully passed away at her home, RR 1, Elmira, on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at the age of 73 years. Beloved wife of the late Orvie Brubacher (1986). Dear mother of Susan (and the late Richard) Martin, Janet (Mark) Horst, James (Charlene) Brubacher, Lucille (Dale) Martin, Murray (Charlene) Brubacher, and Mark (Lori) Brubacher. Lovingly remembered by her 27 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Sister of Marie (Clarence) Weber, Ella (Howard) Brubacher, Glen (Lorene) Wideman, Vera (Allen) Gingrich, David Wideman, and sister-in-law of Erma and Eva Wideman. Predeceased by her parents Menno and Salema (Gingrich) Wideman, brothers Earl and Lorne, and grandson Victor Brubacher. The family would like to thank the Care Partners for their compassionate care. Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., and on Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 12-8 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. Family service will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 9 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, then to Elmira Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
