Obituary of Ruth Hunter

Passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Erwin Hunter (1985). Dear mother of Margaret Weber and Gene Arsenault of Kitchener, Marlene and Robert Hackert of Comox, BC, Jim and Dianna Hunter of Waterloo, Mary and Jamie Hunter-Rhodes of St. Jacobs. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Sonya (Josh), Christopher (Celina); Tate, Mandy Mae; Luke, Avery; Quinten, Quade and Quary and by her great grandchildren Katerina, Zoey and Brian. Ruth will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and their families, and by her sister-in-law Marion Hunter of Mount Forest. Predeceased by her parents William and Margaret (Rhame) Robertson and her sister Verna Wooley. The family will receive their relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church, Elmira on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment in Elmira Union Cemetery. In Ruth’s memory, donations to Trinity United Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
