Obituary of Lovina Brubacher
Brubacher, Lovina ~ March 19, 1922 – January 16, 2016 ~ Peacefully passed away at Chartwell Elmira LTC Residence, at the age of 93. Lovina Brubacher, formerly of RR 1, West Montrose, was the beloved wife of the late Norman B. Brubacher (1984). Dear mother of Leonard and Cheryl Brubacher of Arthur, Marion and Melvin Brubacher of Clifford, Laverne and Grace Brubacher of Ariss, and Walter and Dorothy Brubacher of West Montrose. Lovingly remembered by 32 grandchildren and 74 great-grandchildren. Sister of Henry and Eileen Martin, and Ada and Stan Valenta. Also remembered by son-in-law Leonard and Gladys Martin. Predeceased by her parents Emerson and Barbara (Sauder) Martin, daughter Barbara (Mrs. Leonard) Martin (1973), daughter-in-law Eva Brubacher (2006), three great-grandchildren, brothers Edwin (Almeda), Ivan (Alvina), Howard (Saleda), Sylvester (Annie), and Aden (Alice), sister Elizabeth (Enos) Gingrich, and sister-in-law Mary (Mrs. Henry) Martin. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A family service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 9 a.m., then to Montrose Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service. The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Chartwell for the 13 years of loving care their mother received.
