Obituary of David Martin

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, in his 78th year. Husband of Mary (Sittler) Martin of RR 2, West Montrose. Father of Solomon and Esther, George and Hannah, Esther Martin, all of RR 2, West Montrose, Wesley and Marlene of RR 4, Listowel, Justus and Ellen of RR 2, Mount Forest, Annie Martin, and Marvin Martin both at home, Mary and Elven Martin of RR 1, Dobbinton. Also survived by 24 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, brothers Israel and Nancy Martin of RR 2, West Montrose, Joseph and Hannah Martin of RR 2, Elmira, Henry and Mary Martin of RR 1, West Montrose, sisters Nancy Martin of St. Jacobs, Sarah and Irvin Martin of Mount Forest, brother-in-law Ion and Salome Martin of West Montrose. Predeceased by his parents Urias and Annie Martin, brother Noah (Edna) Martin, sister Maryann Martin, brothers-in-law Amsey Martin and Henry Weber, step sister-in-law Lydia Frey Martin. The family will receive their relatives and friends at the home of Marvin Martin, 1232 Northfield Drive, on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and Friday, November 13 from 1-5 p.m. Family Service will be held at the home of Marvin Martin on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 9 a.m. then to Winterbourne Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
