Obituary of Olive Brubacher

Brubacher, Olive Leona ~ Passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, in her 100th year. Olive (Bearinger) Brubacher, of Elmira, was the beloved wife of the late Wesley Brubacher (1995). Loved mother of Ronald and his wife Linda, and Dennis and his wife Miriam. Loving grandmother of Esther (Douglas), David (Flor), Philip (Cassandra), Aaron (Debora), Julie (Steven), Mark (Carmen), Jennette (Robbie), and 15 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Reta Bearinger and Willard (Lee) Bearinger. She was predeceased by her siblings Irene (Ernest) Mount, Melvin (Margaret) Bearinger, Beulah (Arthur) Weber, Mabel (Ephraim) Martin, Aleta (Fred) Stanbury, Howard (Jessie) Bearinger, and Violet (Gerald) Pitts. Olive was a Past-President of the Elmira Horticultural Society and a longtime member of the Elmira Mennonite Church. Visitation for relatives and friends will take place on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Elmira Mennonite Church, 58 Church St. W., Elmira. Family interment will be in Elmira Mennonite Cemetery prior to the service. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee.
