Obituary of Adeline Martin
Martin, Adeline ~ Peacefully passed into the presence of her Lord on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Heritage House, St. Jacobs. Adeline at the age of 91 years was formerly of Floradale. Sister-in-law of Velina (Mrs. Amos L.) Martin of Parkhill. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Adeline was a registered nurses aid for many years. She was the last surviving member of her family having been predeceased by her parents Anson and Lydia Ann (Lichty) Martin, her sister Edna (Mrs. Emerson) Weber, her brothers Lincoln L. (Mary), Clayton L. (Lila), Amos L., Ervin L. (Beatrice), George L. (in infancy). The family will receive their relatives and friends at Floradale Mennonite Church on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the church on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 2 p.m. A family interment will take place at 1:45 p.m. In Adeline’s memory, donations to MCC or MCEC (Village International Mennonite Church, Ottawa) would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. A special thank you to all the staff at Heritage House, St. Jacobs and Chartwell Retirement Home, Elmira for the exceptional care provided to Adeline.
