Obituary of Mabel Ogram

Ogram, Mabel Marie ~ Mabel peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of the late William Lawrence Ogram (2003) married on August 20, 1955. Dear mother of Roger and wife Barbara of Indiana, Terry and wife Sheila of Caledon. Loving grandma of Taylor, Emily and Meghan Ogram; Andy (Nancy) and Brian (Amy) Shaffer and Betsy Moore (Chad). Great-grandma of Evan, Rebecca, Rachael Shaffer; Alyssa, Lindsey and Jack Shaffer; Abby and Sarah Rowe. Sister of Lorne and Myrna Leis, Walter and Lucille Leis, Stanley and Sheila Leis. In recent years, Mabel and her friend and companion Ross Calder of Cambridge enjoyed travelling, attending historic steam shows amongst other activities.Predeceased by her parents Sydney and Maude (Schlueter) Leis, sister Doris Lotz, brother-in-law Clayton Lotz. The family will receive their relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 1-4 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Linwood on Monday, June 29, 2015 at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. In Mabel’s memory, donations to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Linwood would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
