Obituary of Ruby Weber
Weber, Ruby Aileen ~ May 15, 1923 – March 8, 2015 ~ Peacefully went to be with her Lord, at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel, in her 92nd year. Ruby Weber (nee Metzger) was the beloved wife of the late Vernon Weber (1998). Dear mother of Barbara (the late Lyle) Martin of Ethel, David (Wendy) of Milverton, Glen (Bonnie) of Elmira, John (Ellen) of Drayton, Richard of Listowel, and Mary Lou (Russ) Loan of Waterloo. Also lovingly remembered by her six grandchildren Grant (Pamela) Martin, Wanda (Jeremy) Heibein, Sherri (Eric) Lemke, Justin (Juanita) Weber, Lori (Chris) Schumacher, and Angela (Jerry) Koop, and by her 12 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Gordon Weber and Alice Weber. Also sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Wesley and Elvina (Sittler) Metzger, stepmother Grace (Shantz) Metzger, daughter-in-law Cathy Weber, great-grandson Ross Martin, sister-in-law Audrey Weber, and brothers-in-law Homer (Sylvia) Schwindt and Ralph Weber. The family will receive their relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Family interment will take place in Glen Allan Cemetery prior to the memorial service on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Listowel Mennonite Church, 465 Maitland Ave. S., Listowel. In Ruby’s memory, donations to MCC would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
