Obituary of Doug Ray

Passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Listowel Memorial Hospital at the age of 65 years. Doug resided in Atwood and was formerly of Glen Allan. Dear father of Chad and Amy of Latchford, Douglas Jr. ‘D.J.’ and Christa, Cody and Brandy and Bailey all of London. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Caleb, Hudson, Lily, Jailenna, Liam, Mason, Braiden and Ally. Beloved son of Virginia ‘Jean’ Ray of Milverton and the late John Ray (1982). Brother of Gloria Orr of Puslinch, Gary and Elaine of Kenilworth, Terry of Guelph, and Darlene and Charlie Koebel of Crosshill. Doug is remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families. Doug touched the lives of many and will be missed by all. The family will receive their relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment in St. Joseph’s R.C. Cemetery, Macton. In Doug’s memory, donations to Grand River Hospital Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
