Obituary of Kathleen Steffler
Steffler, Kathleen (Kay) Goldie ~ It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Kathleen (Kay) Goldie Steffler on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, in her 88th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband James in 1995. Kay will be very much missed by her two children, Frank (Dorothy) Steffler of Alberta and Teresa (Kevin) Anderson of Sarnia; grandchildren Julie Steffler, Andrea (Justin) Morrison, Katrina (Clint) Richards, Scotty (Trish) Anderson, and Alexander Anderson; and great-grandchildren, Tyler and Kasia Sholter, Trinity, James, and Carter Morrison, Shelby, Benjamin, and new baby Richards later this year, and Elliot Anderson. Survived by one brother Peter Nemeth of Idaho. Predeceased by her brothers, George, Balint, Anthony, Stephen, and sisters, Mary, Barbara and Sue. Originally from Glen Allan, Kay was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Sarnia for 20 years, was an avid knitter, loved her daily long walks and enjoyed watching all her grand and great-grandchildren grow and flourish. The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A service of remembrance of Kay’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2015 in the funeral home chapel. Burial at Memory Gardens, Breslau. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
