Obituary of Scott Denton

Denton, Scott ~ Passed away peacefully at The Village Manor, St. Jacobs on Saturday, February 14, 2015, at the age of 86 years after a brief battle with lung cancer. Scott was the beloved husband of Shirlie (Neal, Humby) Denton of St. Jacobs. Dear father of Matthew, Kim Gray, Mark and his wife, Wendy. Loved grandfather of Kyle, Jordan, Conrad and Sara. Also lovingly remembered by the Humby family, Shirlie’s children, Susan, Neal, Carol Dickenson (Blair), Jane Woodley, and their children. Scott will be remembered by some as a driving instructor in the Waterloo area, for 12 years, known to many of his students as ‘Scooter’. Memorial service to celebrate Scott’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 1 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, St. Jacobs. Cremation has taken place.
