Obituary of Franklin Weber
Weber, Franklin (Frank) ~ Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, February 9, 2015 at Hospice Wellington, at the age of 79. Cherished husband and best friend for 53 years of Reta (Weaver) Weber. Dearly loved father of Ronald of Vancouver, Bradley (Susan Matthews) of Holland Centre, and Brent (Tammy) of Caledon. Beloved Papa of Calaghan (Carolyn) Dell’Anno of Bowmanville and Caitlin Cheney (Chris Cranfield) of Shelbourne. Proud GG of Kurtis Cheney and Audrey Dell’Anno. Frank was the last surviving member of his family having been predeceased by his parents Ion and Geneva (Kinsie) Weber, his siblings Helen (Urias) Frey, Emerson (Edna), Lawrence, Beatrice, George, Donald (Naomi), and Walter and Isabel both in infancy. Survived by sisters-in-law Helen Weber, Lena Weber, Ruth Burkhart, and Stella Weaver. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Next to family, Frank’s greatest joy was fishing. He was an avid Maple Leaf and Blue Jays fan. He was a member of Bethel Mennonite Church (Elora). Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service and reception will be held at the Floradale Mennonite Church, 22 Florapine Rd., Floradale, on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. The family wish to thank Pastor Dave Tiessen, Dr. Dawn Yew, Hospice Wellington, PSW Tammy, CCAC Care Partners, our Bethel Church family, and all who supported us with your prayers, overnight care, food, flowers, cards, and phone calls.
