Obituary of Earl M. Martin

Martin, Earl M. ~ Passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Grand River Hospital, at the age of 84 years. Earl Martin was the beloved husband for 59 years of Lorene Martin of Floradale. Dear father of Keith (Audrey) of Cobden, Kenneth (Clara) of Cobden, Douglas (Margaret) of Moorefield, Duane (Carol) of Elmira, Susan (Merle) Bauman of Listowel, and Jayne (Gary) Martin of Arthur. Grandfather of 32 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Brother of Leona Weber of Winterbourne, Vera (Clare) Martin of Floradale, and Alice Frey of Floradale. Predeceased by his parents Alvin S. and Leah (Martin) Martin, a brother Abner in infancy, two brothers-in-law Herman Weber and Abner Frey, and a great-grandson Sheldon Bauman. Visitation for relatives and friends will take place on Monday from 7-8:30 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8:30 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira. A family service will be held at Parkview Manor, Floradale, on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 9 a.m., then to North Woolwich Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service. The Martin family would like to extend special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the ICU at Grand River Hospital.
