Obituary of Frans Christiaens

Christiaens, Frans A. S. (Frank) ~ Crossed over to the open arms of our Lord on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Freeport Health Centre, Kitchener, at the age of 77 years. Frank Christiaens, of Cambridge, is lovingly remembered by his best friend Anne; his children Bart (Louise) of Winnipeg, Marc (Dorothy) of Elmira, Luc (Lorie) of Brantford, Dick (Jane) of Chesley; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Also remembered by three brothers and four sisters, all in Belgium. Predeceased by a son Nick, a brother and a sister. Frank was a longtime employee of York Farms in Brantford and the Home Depot at the Sportsworld location in Kitchener. A memorial service for family and friends will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. Visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service. A reception will follow. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Regional Cancer Centre or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
