Obituary of Donald Burrows

Burrows, Donald James ~ May 8, 1948 – December 13, 2014 ~ Passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital at the age of 66 years. Don Burrows, of Elmira, was the dear father of Shannon Burrows and her husband Tom Schwartzentruber of Minneapolis and Roxanne and her husband Kyle Rank of Elmira. Loving grandfather of Sydney and Samuel Schwartzentruber and McKenzie and Charlotte Rank. Brother of Catherine (Norm), Lauchena (Bob), Ronald (Barb) and Sharon (Dave). Predeceased by his parents Frank and Elfleda (McPhail) Burrows and his brothers, John, William, Bruce, Robert, Wayne and Clair. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews, friends and members of the Elmira community. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and playing his guitar. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elmira Golf Club (40 Eldale Road, Elmira) on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 1 p.m. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to KidsAbility or Woolwich Community Services would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
