Obituary of Brian Goodwin

Goodwin, Brian ~ Passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at his residence in Elmira at the age of 56 years. Brian was the beloved husband and best friend of Linda for 13 years. Remembered by Linda’s children and their families. Son of Larry Goodwin and the late Mae Goodwin (2006). Brother of Bob and Mary Lynn of Waterloo, and Steve and Robin of Elmira. Uncle of Jennifer (Brian), Sean (Justine), Melissa (Ben), and Connor, and their families. The family will receive their relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with the Elmira Legion Branch 469 service at the funeral home at 6:45 p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion service will be in lieu of a funeral service. At Brian’s request cremation will take place. A family graveside service will be held at a later date. In Brian’s memory, donations to the Poppy Fund Branch 469 Elmira would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
