Obituary of Amon Bauman

Bauman, Amon ~ Peacefully passed away at his residence on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the age of 90 years. Survived by his wife Salome (Bearinger) Bauman of RR 1, Wallenstein. Father of Oscar and Edna, Edward and Annie, all of RR 1, Wallenstein, and Martha and Amsey E. Martin of RR 3, Wallenstein. Also survived by his 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Isaiah and Hannah (Martin) Bauman, his brother Edward (2002), and a stillborn daughter Anna (1958). Friends called at Edward Bauman’s home, 7490 Line 86, RR 1, Wallenstein on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m., and may call Thursday from 1-5 and 6-7 p.m. A private family service will be held at the family home on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 9 a.m. then to South Peel Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira. Service Summary Visitation: At the home of Edward Bauman (7490 Line 86, RR 1, Wallenstein) on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, November 27, 2014 from 1-5 and 6-7 p.m. Services: Private family service at the family home on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 9 a.m. then to South Peel Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service
