Martin, Elvina W. (Mrs. Leander R.) ~ Passed away at home on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the age of 83 years. Elvina (Eby) Martin of RR 2, Elmira, was the wife of Leander R. Martin. Mother of Harvey E. and Annie Martin of RR 1, Linwood, Martha and Isaac M. Martin of RR 1, West Montrose, Erla and Elmer R. Sauder of RR 1, Newton, Amsey E. and Martha (Bauman) Martin of RR 3, Wallenstein, and Henry E. Martin of RR 2, Elmira. Survived by 26 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Step-mother of Elias and Esther Martin, Malinda and Amos Martin, Susannah and Sidney Brubacher, Salome and Joseph Weber, Lizzie and Nelson Reist, Edward and Selema Martin, Clayton and Miriam Martin. Also survived by 50 step-grandchildren and 87 step-great-grandchildren. Elvina was the last surviving member of her family. Predeceased by her first husband Melvin B. Martin (1981), her parents Samuel and Lena (Weber) Eby, two brothers, four sisters and one step-grandchild. Viewing on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 1-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the home of Edward W. Martin, 144 Southfield Drive, RR 2, Elmira. Viewing on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 1-5 p.m. at the home of Amsey E. Martin, 4525 Lawson Line, RR 3, Wallenstein where a family service will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 9 a.m. then to Linwood Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira. Service Summary Visitation: At the family home, 5502 Ament Line, RR 1, Linwood, on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 1-5 p.m. ~ Services: A family service at her home on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 9 a.m., then to Linwood Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service
