Obituary of Eli S. Martin

Martin, Eli S. Passed away peacefully at his residence in Hawkesville on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, in his 100th year. Eli Shirk Martin was the husband of the late Elizabeth Martin (2009). Father of Onias and Rebecca Martin of RR 2 Elmira, Selema and Jacob Martin, Sarah and Aden Martin, and Owen Martin, all of Hawkesville. Elvina and Ammon Martin, Ivan and Magdalena Martin, all of RR 1 Millbank. Manoah Martin and Elam Martin, both of RR 1 Wallenstein. Also survived by 30 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren. Brother of Jacob S. Martin, Hannah (Mrs. Amos S. Martin) and Lena (Mrs. Joseph Bowman), all of RR 3 Wallenstein. Predeceased by his parents, Jacob W. and Katherine (Shirk) Martin, a daughter Edna (Mrs. Owen Martin), a grandson Samuel Martin, five brothers and four sisters. A family service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 9 a.m. followed by burial and further services at Centre Woolwich Mennonite Meeting House.
