Martin, Elvina (Shantz) Peacefully, on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at home, RR 1, Linwood, in her 78th year. Wife of Clayton M. Martin. Mother of Levi and Betty of Holyrood, Nancy Martin of Linwood, Elo of Brussels, Adam of Breslau, Allan and Laurene of Elmira, Lydia Martin of Linwood, and Jonas of Brussels. Survived by 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sisters Susannah Bauman of Floradale, Esther and Henry Wideman of Wallenstein, Lena and Osiah Bauman of Goldstone, Louisa and Vernon Martin of Elmira, and Nancy Shantz of Elmira, and brothers Ian and Esther Shantz of Wallenstein, Ervin and Lydia Shantz of Floradale, and Daniel and Salema Shantz of St. Jacobs, and brothers-in-law Alvin Metzger of Wallenstein and Joseph and Ada Martin of Massey. Predeceased by her parents Ervin and Esther (Martin) Shantz, two brothers in infancy, sisters Mary Metzger and Erma Martin, brother-in-law Milton Bauman, and two grandsons. Visitation for relatives and friends will take place at the family home, 5502 Ament Line, RR 1, Linwood, on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 1-5 p.m. A family service will be held at her home on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 9 a.m., then to Linwood Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
