Obituary of Murray Snyder

Snyder, Murray Ross ~ Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Hospice Wellington, Guelph on Sunday, August 31, 2014, at the age of 83 years. Murray Snyder was the beloved husband for 51 years of Isabelle (Dahmer) Snyder. Dear father of Bev and her husband Cleason Martin, Cheryl and her husband Rob Martin, Dale Snyder, Sandra and her husband Duane Brubacher. Loved grandpa of seven grandchildren, Tami (Logan), Jake, Brittany, Georgi, Darcie, Tyler, and Katelyn. Brother of Betty and Earl Bauman, and brother-in-law of Betty Snyder. Also remembered by the Dahmer family; Betty and Jim Tolton, Jean and Don Amy, Helen and Bob Reay, John and Maryann Dahmer. Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Roberta (Groff) Snyder, and his brother Lorne. Murray sold trucks for Kirby International for many years and was involved with Transport for Christ. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira. A funeral service will be held at Emmanuel Evangelical Missionary Church, Elmira on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place prior to the service in Elmira Union Cemetery at 1 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Emmanuel Evangelical Missionary Church Building Fund, Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or Hospice Wellington.
