Obituary of Annie Martin
Martin, Annie ~ Passed away peacefully at her home, RR 3, Wallenstein, on Sunday, August 31, 2014, at the age of 89 years. Annie Martin was the beloved wife of the late Amos B. Martin (1990). Mother of Elvina Martin of RR 1, Waterloo, Amsey and Saloma Martin of Yatton, Selinda and Alvin Bauman of Gladstone, Manitoba, David and Esther Martin of RR 3, Wallenstein, and Annie Martin of RR 3, Wallenstein. Survived by 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Sister of Lovina Brubacher of Waterloo, Lydian Martin of RR 1, St. Jacobs, Enos and Hannah Weber of RR 1, Wallenstein. Sister-in-law of Ivan Martin. Predeceased by her daughter Sarah Martin (1999); parents Alvin and Elizabeth (Martin) Weber; stepmother Susannah (Martin) Weber; brothers Abram and Elvina Weber, Elam and Annie Weber, Sylvester and Sidney; sisters Melinda and Allen Martin, Lucinda Martin, and one sister in infancy; and brothers-in-law Tilman Brubacher and Amos Martin. Visitation for relatives and friends took place at her home on Monday, September 1, from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. and will take place on Tuesday, September 2, from 2-6 p.m. A family service will be held at her home on Wednesday, September 3, at 9 a.m. then to Linwood Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
