Obituary of Joseph F. Gingrich

Gingrich, Joseph F. ~ Passed away peacefully at his residence, RR 2, Drayton on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at the age of 94 years. Joseph Gingrich is survived by his wife Anna (Horst) Gingrich, his stepchildren Erla (Elam, 2003) Martin of RR 1, Waterloo and Minerva and Enos Martin of RR 2, Drayton, 27 grandchildren, 155 great-grandchildren, 71 great-great-grandchildren, and a sister Hannah (Harvey, 2006) Martin of RR 1, Waterloo. He was predeceased by his first wife Ida (Martin) Gingrich (1983), a stepson Cleason Lichty (2014), stepdaughters Edna (2012) and Ephriam (2003) Martin and Mary Lichty (1947), a grandson Aaron Martin (1977), his parents Joseph and Katie (Frey) Gingrich, six brothers and two sisters. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home of Amsey and Lorene Martin, 7378 6th line, RR 2, Drayton on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 2-6 p.m. and Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 2-5 p.m. where a family service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 9 a.m. then to North Woolwich Mennonite Meeting House for burial and further public service. Arrangements entrusted to Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
