Obituary of Elsie Rudy

Rudy, Elsie ~ Passed away at her residence on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at the age of 85 years. Wife of the late Menno M. Rudy (2011). Mother of Martha Rudy of RR 3, Waterloo, David and Ruth Rudy of Dobbinton, Abner and Susannah Rudy, Anna and Magdalena Rudy, all of RR 3, Waterloo, and Saleda Rudy of Elmira. Also survived by thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Sister of Saleda Martin of St. Jacobs and Alice Weber of Linwood. Stepsister of Alvin and Anna Bauman of St. Jacobs, and sister-in-law of Melinda Brubacher of RR 2, Wallenstein. Predeceased by her parents Israel and Mary (Martin) Brubacher, a daughter Barbara, a son in infancy, a granddaughter, three brothers Melvin (Leah), Edwin (Annie), and Clayton, three sisters Naomi (Adon) Eby and two in infancy, brothers-in-law Ephraim Martin and Noah Weber, stepsisters Sarah Vale and Lovina Martin, and stepbrother Irvin Bauman. Visitation was held at her home, RR 3, Waterloo, on Sunday, July 20, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and will be held on Monday, July 21, from 1-6 p.m. where a family service will be held on Tuesday, July 22, at 9 a.m. then to Conestoga Mennonite Meeting House for burial and further public service. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira. Service Summary Visitation: At her home, RR 3, Waterloo, on Sunday, July 20, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and Monday, July 21, from 1-6 p.m. Funeral Service: Family service at her home on Tuesday, July 22, at 9 a.m. then to Conestoga Mennonite Meeting House for burial and further public service
