Obituary of Michelle Krasovec

Krasovec, Michelle ~ March 15, 1973 - June 19, 2014 ~ It is with sorrow and heartfelt sadness that the Krasovec family announces the passing of Michelle at the age of 41 years. After a courageous battle with ALS, she passed away surrounded by her loving family. Michelle (Witmer) Krasovec was the beloved wife for 22 years of Tony Krasovec of Elmira. Dear mother of Zack and his fiancée Janessa and Cam and his friend Vanessa. Loved by all of her parents, Deborah and Paul Martin of St. Jacobs; Steve Voisin of Kitchener; Keith and Lois Riehl of Puslinch; and Tisha Shea of Guelph. Sister of Robin Riehl, Austin Martin (2011), Megan Voisin, Ryan Voisin, Ashley Henderson, and Jason Henderson. Sister-in-law of Evelyn and Steve Whigham of Kitchener and Rod and Gail Krasovec of Elmira. Daughter-in-law of Kathy Krasovec of Elmira and Frank (Vy) Krasovec of Val Rita. Also, lovingly remembered by her many grandparents, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and “The Girls”. After attending Liaison College, Michelle’s love for cooking flourished into her creation of Borrowed Hands Personal Chef Services. Some of Michelle’s many accomplishments included her nomination for the 2010 Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year in the professional category and she was also instrumental in bringing the “Random Act of Kindness Day” to the Township of Woolwich. Michelle’s love of life and strength of character touched many people in her community and she will be sadly missed. Visitation will take place on Monday, June 23, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Woodside Bible Fellowship, Elmira. Interment will take place in Elmira Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to ALS Canada.
