Obituary of Martha Martin
Martin, Martha ~ Martha passed away peacefully, and went to be with her Saviour and Lord, at the age of 97 years, on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Heritage House, St. Jacobs. Born on July 19, 1916 in Elmira, Ontario, the second eldest daughter of Emmanuel and Lovina Martin. Survived and fondly remembered by her sisters Selina (Sally) Martin, Luella Martin, and Miriam (Derek) Parke, and seven nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents, brothers Mahlon, Sydney, and Harvey, and sister Ermina (Mina) Ellis. The family wishes to thank the staff and nurses at Heritage House for their kind and loving care of Martha in her final days. Friends are invited to pay their respects at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 1–2 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The family invites you to join them for light refreshments after the service, followed by interment in Elmira Mennonite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Conestoga Bible Camp or Missionary Aviation Fellowship.
