Obituary of Colin Mcdougall

McDougall, Colin ~ Passed away peacefully at the Grand River Hospital on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the age of 86 years. Colin McDougall, of Elmira, is lovingly remembered by his sister Florence and Bob Reed, brother Neil McDougall, sister Heather and Roger Sayles, sisters-in-law Marie McDougall and Sherry McDougall, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Hugh and Marie (Longman) McDougall, sister Ruth (Bob) Celeri, brothers Bob and Rod McDougall, and sister-in-law Noreen McDougall. Colin worked on the family farm for many years until he moved into Elmira to finish his working life at Borg Textiles. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira. A funeral service will be held at Gale Presbyterian Church, 10 Barnswallow Dr., Elmira on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow. Interment will take place in Elora Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Gale Presbyterian Church.
