Obituary of Jean Ritter

Ritter, Jean ~ Passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, at the age of 81 years. Jean Ritter (nee Marr), wife of Philip Ritter of Guelph. Dear mother of Barbara Argier and husband Joseph (deceased) of California, Dan Minor (deceased) and his wife Wanda of Essex, Rick Minor and his wife Brenda of Aylmer. Remembered by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by her brothers and sisters, Marion Crane of Strathroy, Colin (Donna) Marr of Tillsonburg, Larry (Eleanor) Marr of St. George; and sisters-in-law Marion Marr and Beatrice Marr. Also remembered by Miriam and John Coleman of Waterloo, Linda Snider of St. Jacobs, Tom and Jeanette Kuntz and family of Mount Forest, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Willis Marr and Ken Marr, sister Edna (John) Lysko, and brother-in-law Tom Crane. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Mapleton Church of Christ, Aylmer (Malahide Township). Cremation has taken place. A donation in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira (519-669-2207).
