Obituary of Ruth Clarke
Clarke, Ruth (nee Pipher) Hallman ~ February 27, 1924 – January 30, 2014 ~ Passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord, at Chateau Gardens Elmira LTC. Ruth Hallman Clarke was the beloved wife of her first husband Jack E. Hallman (1987) and her second husband C. Ken Clarke (2004). Dear mother of Jean and Ralph Morby of Elmira, Dave and Tracy Hallman of Kitchener, Shirley and Gary J. Yantzi of Stratford. Loved grandmother of Ryan Morby, Jason and Jessica Morby, Isaac Hallman and Caleb Hallman. Great-grandmother of Lukas and Nathan Morby. Sister of Helen Furtney, John and Grace Pipher, Al and Joan Pipher. Sister-in-law of Audrey Hallman and Bernie Springall. Also remembered by Ken Clarke’s family, Marilyn and Ramsey Sankarsingh, Debbie and Jim Wilson, Doug and Marie Clarke, and their families. Predeceased by brother Eldon and Marg Pipher, brothers-in-law Ed Furtney and Joe Hallman, and sister-in-law Betty Springall. Ruth was a longtime employee of the Licence Bureau in Kitchener. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Evangelical Missionary Church, 2 First St. W., Elmira. Spring interment will take place in New Dundee Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or EMCC World Partners.
