Obituary of Mary Battjes

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at K.W. Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late H. Peter Battjes (1998). Dear mother of Pat (Will) Adye-White of Brampton, Ann Battjes of Waterloo, and John Battjes of Elmira. Lovingly remembered by her granddaughters Amanda (Nelson) of Ottawa and Lauren of Montreal. The family will receive their friends and family at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Waterloo Christian Reformed Church, 209 Bearinger Road, Waterloo on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment in Memory Gardens, Breslau. In Mary’s memory, donations to Grand River Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
