Weber, Enos “Pete”
Died peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Forest Heights LTC, Kitchener, in his 86th year. Pete Weber was the beloved husband of the late Helen (Dietrich) Weber (2002); brother of the late Israel “Isey” Weber (2013); son of the late Daniel and Judith (Bauman) Weber; and brother-in-law of the late Edna Weber. Survived by brothers Amsey (Ruby) Weber of Elmira, Urias Weber of Elmira, Isaiah “Ike” (Avis) Weber of New Liskeard and sister-in-law Sally Weber. Also survived by sister-in-law Laura Bauer of Waterloo and brother-in-law John Dietrich of Mitchell. Dearly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families. Pete operated Weber’s Auto Body in Wallenstein for many years and then worked as an auto claims adjuster for insurance companies. After retiring Pete enjoyed volunteering with the hospital auxiliary at K.W. Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital. Pete enjoyed many good years at Chateau Gardens Assisted Living before moving to Forest Heights LTC. He was an honourable “stand by me man” who lived his life according to the serenity prayer and he will be sadly missed by the many lives that he touched. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the funeral service time of 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place in Elmira Union Cemetery followed by a reception at the funeral home. In his memory, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
