Obituary of George B. Bowman

Bowman, George B. ~ Passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at the age of 80 years. George Bowman, of Wallenstein, was the beloved husband of the late Barbara (Rudy) Bowman (2007). Father of Sarah Bowman of Kitchener; Malinda and Annie Bowman both of Elmira; Saloma Bowman of Milverton; Samuel and Ellen Bowman of Wallenstein; John and Pauline Bowman of RR 3, Listowel; Rebecca, Elvina and Louisa Bowman, and Joseph and Elaine Bowman all of Wallenstein; and Esther Bowman of West Montrose. Grandfather of 16 grandchildren. Brother of Ada and Daniel Martin and Samuel B. and Melinda Bowman, both of RR 1, Wallenstein; and Selina Martin of Elmira. Brother-in-law of Lydia Bowman of Listowel; and Lucinda Bowman of Wallenstein. Predeceased by his parents Elias and Rachel Bowman, brothers Josiah and Menno and two in infancy, and a brother-in-law Edward Martin. The family will receive their relatives and friends on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 2-6 p.m. at 6391 Side Road 19, RR 1, Wallenstein where a family service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 9 a.m. with interment and further service to be held at South Peel Mennonite Meeting House, RR 1, Wallenstein.
