Obituary of Kay Maher

Maher, Kay ~ Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Monday, December 2, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital, at the age of 94 years. Dearest wife of the late Ed Maher (August 10, 2007). Devoted mother of Skip and Grace, Wayne and Connie. Kay was the sweet, sweet grandma of Stacey, John and Bryan, all of Elmira. Also lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Alexander and Marjorie MacKay and her sister Penelope Berkin. The family will receive their relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, Elmira on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. followed by cremation. In Kay’s memory, donations to Chateau Gardens Auxiliary would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
