Beatrice was predeceased by her brothers, Michael Kittel and John (Eileen) Kittel, a sister Mary, in infancy, and brothers-in-law Leonard Zinger and Willard Walter. Beatrice was born on the family farm at Macton on September 22, 1919 to Elizabeth (Weidner) and William Kittel. The Kittel family farm where Beatrice was raised, was right next to the Walter family farm. It was along the line fence, by a patch of ice that was good for skating, where Beatrice met Frank. They were married at St. Joseph’s Church, Macton on June 21, 1941 and were blessed with 72 years together. Beatrice thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Playing cards was a great pastime for her. She enjoyed a weekly game of concentration with her son, David, who did not let her win often. Before an injury slowed her down, she was an avid bowler and liked to get out with her daughters to play Bingo. Beatrice was a faithful member of St. Teresa of Avila RC Church in Elmira and was a dedicated member of the CWL for over 60 years.
